Oba Oyeyode Oyesosin, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, has officially declared his support for Governor Ademola Adeleke to secure a second term. This decision marks a shift away from supporting Najeem Salaam, an ADC candidate who is also a resident of the area.
During the unveiling of a newly completed 12-kilometer intercity road located near his palace, the monarch praised the current administration for its responsiveness to local needs. He emphasized that these road improvements are vital for boosting the local economy and linking various communities.
Addressing his people in Yoruba, Oba Oyesosin urged his subjects to cast their ballots for the Governor. In response, Governor Adeleke expressed gratitude for the royal endorsement, noting that his administration continues to exceed performance expectations. He also promised to honor his commitments to the monarch, specifically mentioning the future completion of the 33-kilometer Ejigbo-Iwo road project.
Bello Bashir, the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Works, explained that the road project serves over seven distinct communities. While the first 12-kilometer segment is finished, work on the remaining portion is scheduled to commence shortly.
