Soldiers under Operation HADIN KAI have detained 12 people accused of supplying resources and aiding ISWAP and JAS insurgents during various missions throughout Borno State. According to a Tuesday report released in Abuja, members of the 135 Special Forces Battalion, alongside Civilian Joint Task Force members and local vigilantes, captured 10 individuals near Kurnari. These suspects were blocked while en route to Miringa Market with supplies including five cattle, two tricycles, nine mobile devices, and cash.
In a separate effort, the 149 Battalion, working with hybrid forces and the CJTF, apprehended an individual in Zowo Village, Gubio, for supplying fuel to terrorists. The suspect allegedly admitted to supporting militants near the Binduldul-Kareto route. Additionally, a suspected informant was taken into custody in Monguno by the 19 Brigade and the CJTF for leaking military movement details. Near Mallam Fatori, soldiers also recovered discarded mortar and RPG shells, which were subsequently neutralized by disposal experts.
