Nigerian Troops Neutralize Two ISWAP Terrorists in Borno State Patrol
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have eliminated two ISWAP terrorists during a combat patrol in Aligambari village near Gajiram, Borno State.
Acting on credible intelligence, the Nigerian Army launched a swift operation around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025. Upon contact, the troops overpowered the terrorists with superior firepower, resulting in the deaths of two insurgents.
Recovered from the scene were one AK-47 rifle, one PKT machine gun, and two magazines.
The troops have since maintained control of the area with ongoing aggressive patrols to prevent terrorist movement.
“All captured items are in the custody of the troops, and further instructions are being awaited from higher headquarters,” a military source stated.
