Nigeria to Face Ghana in WAFCON 2026 Warm-up Match

The Nigerian Super Falcons will play a friendly match against Ghana’s Black Queens in Casablanca this Saturday to prepare for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

According to reports from the DAILY POST, the Nigerian Super Falcons are scheduled to compete against the Ghanaian Black Queens in a friendly game this Saturday. This exhibition match is intended to help both squads prepare for the upcoming 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and will take place at the Stade el Arbi Zaouli in Casablanca.

On Monday, the Super Falcons established their training camp in Casablanca for the tournament. Currently, 10 team members are staying at the Hotel Marriott.

The group currently in Casablanca includes team captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie and Fatima Oloko, as well as defenders Oluwatosin Demehin, Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ucheibe, Shukurat Oladipo, and Rofiat Imuran. Midfielder Jennifer Echegini and forward Asisat Oshoala have also arrived. The squad is set to participate in their initial practice session at the Stade el Arbi Zaouli this evening.
