Nicolas Jackson’s future at Chelsea remains unclear, according to Maresca.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has suggested that Nicolas Jackson could leave the club this summer, stating that “anything can happen” during the transfer window. His comments, shared by Fabrizio Romano, come after Chelsea signed two new strikers, raising questions about Jackson’s role in the squad.
Maresca said the situation remains open: “That’s also the case for Nico Jackson. We signed two strikers… let’s see.”
Speculation around Jackson’s future has grown following the club’s transfer activity, and Maresca’s remarks have added to the uncertainty.
He also confirmed that defender Levi Colwill has picked up an injury and is currently out of action. “We had a problem the last two days about Levi Colwill. We don’t know how long he will be out for. Hopefully not too long,” he added.
As Chelsea prepare for the upcoming season, Maresca faces key decisions on player fitness and possible departures.
