Luke Littler’s grandmother experienced a surprising moment when she spotted a mural dedicated to the 19-year-old darts champion while riding a bus through Warrington. The artwork, which features the phrase ‘Born to Win,’ is located on the side of the Golden Square Shopping Centre.
The grandmother noticed the workers preparing the site on Wednesday and stepped off the bus to investigate before alerting the rest of the family. Littler, who attended the official unveiling on Thursday, expressed his gratitude for the tribute, describing it as a surreal experience.
This recognition follows Littler’s victory at the 2026 World Matchplay, marking his 11th PDC major title. While Littler continues his ascent, he noted the recent struggles of Michael van Gerwen, who has dropped to seventh in the PDC Order of Merit. Littler expressed a desire for the Dutch player to regain his top form, as he remains one of the few competitors currently earning significant prize money alongside Luke Humphries and Gian van Veen.
