Barcelona director Deco revealed that a club did make a move to sign Lamine Yamal last season.

He stated that the club was French giants PSG, who were keen to acquire the talented attacker when the Spain international emerged on the scene.

The offer came after the young player helped Spain win the Euros over the summer.

Deco, a former Barça and Chelsea star, told RAC1 that the rumours about PSG’s interest in Yamal were true.

“Yes, last season, not this one yet, but what we want is for him to stay. We don’t want to listen to offers, PSG asked, but Real Madrid didn’t,” he said.

Deco stated that Barcelona have turned down every offer for the youngster and are unwilling to sell him at any price.

Yamal, 17, has contributed to Barcelona’s victories in LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de España this season.
