Kyrian Amadi, the recently installed chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP) in Imo State, has claimed that his organization is the primary force to contend with in the 2027 general elections. Following his appointment by the national leadership, Amadi announced that the party is implementing strategies to broaden its influence across Imo State and the entire country.
Amadi characterized the NDP as a grassroots movement built on the pillars of democratic principles, equity, and social justice. He emphasized the party’s commitment to effective governance and noted that patriotic citizens are increasingly aligning with their platform. The chairman commended the national leadership for establishing a presence throughout the state’s 27 local government areas and 305 wards.
Describing the public reception of the party as highly enthusiastic, he invited all remaining unregistered voters to join their ranks. He highlighted that the NDP focuses on accountability, infrastructural growth, and human capital development. Furthermore, Amadi confirmed that the party is utilizing current windows provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission to adjust candidates for legislative positions at the state and federal levels.
