A collective known as Friends of Kitan Oyesiku is pressing the Ogun State government and local law enforcement to accelerate the inquiry into the broadcaster’s untimely death. In a public statement issued Wednesday by Oluwaseun Boye, the group emphasized that those involved in the brutal killing must face the full consequences of the law.
Describing the victim as a generous and gentle individual, the associates expressed deep sorrow over the senseless nature of her passing. They specifically requested that the Ogun State Police Command maintain the current pace of their investigation until all culprits are held accountable.
The group voiced appreciation for the efforts led by Police Commissioner Bode Ojajuni, noting their faith in the authorities’ ability to resolve the case. They insisted that securing a conviction is vital to show the public that criminal acts will not be tolerated.
Furthermore, the group encouraged citizens to provide any relevant details to the police, noting that even minor pieces of information could assist in the breakthrough needed for the case. They remain hopeful that the truth will be uncovered and that justice will be achieved for their late friend.
