Kaduna State Officials Denounce Naridon Village Attack, Order Security Sweep

Governor Uba Sani has ordered a security crackdown and emergency aid following a deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area.

Kaduna State authorities have expressed strong disapproval regarding the recent massacre of numerous individuals in Naridon Village, located within the Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area near the border with Plateau State. The incident resulted in significant loss of life and extensive damage to local property.

In response to the violence, Governor Uba Sani issued a formal statement on Monday through Ahmed Maiyaki, the Commissioner for Information. He labeled the assault as entirely unacceptable. Consequently, the Governor has commanded security forces to ramp up their presence and operations to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure the area remains secure.

Furthermore, Governor Sani has instructed the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency to mobilize and deliver urgent humanitarian aid and support to the residents whose lives and livelihoods were impacted by this tragedy.
