Jennifer Onoh of Jenew Homes Rejects False Demolition Claims by Ikenna Abanonu

Jenew Homes CEO Jennifer Onoh has issued a formal disclaimer refuting allegations by Ikenna Abanonu regarding the illegal demolition of a property in Enugu.

Jennifer Onoh, the CEO of Jenew Homes Limited, has officially countered claims made by Ikenna Abanonu regarding the alleged destruction of New Berries Park in Enugu. In a video circulated online, Abanonu accused Onoh of utilizing construction machinery to dismantle his business premises on July 19, 2026.

Onoh issued a formal disclaimer on July 21, 2026, dismissing the accusations as entirely false and malicious. She clarified that Jenew Homes Limited was officially allocated the land in question by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on August 15, 2022. Following a Federal High Court judgment from January 2022, the company received formal possession of the site on January 16, 2026. However, she noted that the property has not yet been vacated, a situation currently under review by the Ministry.

Onoh stated clearly that neither she nor her company had any role in a demolition event. She warned that such claims are defamatory and requested that Abanonu cease the spread of these statements, noting that failure to comply will result in legal action.
