The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially made public the credentials of individuals running in the 2027 presidential and legislative races. This disclosure occurred across state offices throughout Nigeria, adhering to the commission’s predetermined schedule for the upcoming general elections.

Among the candidates, President Bola Tinubu is listed as the All Progressives Congress (APC) nominee, with Kashim Shettima continuing as his running mate. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has selected Atiku Abubakar, teamed with Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. Meanwhile, the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) features Peter Obi alongside vice-presidential pick Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Other parties also finalized their tickets: the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presented Sandy Onor and Umaru Babangida; the African Action Congress (AAC) named Omoyele Sowore and Garba Magashi; and the Young Progressives Party (YPP) put forward Zugwai Chukwu with Egbeola Martins. Additional entries include candidates from the SDP, ADP, NDC, Labour Party, and NNPP.
