Gyokeres Breaks Arsenal Shirt Sales Record After No. 14 Reveal
Viktor Gyokeres has shattered Arsenal’s shirt sales record just days after completing his £64 million move from Sporting Lisbon.
The Swedish striker was officially unveiled on Sunday in Singapore and confirmed to be wearing the iconic No. 14 shirt—once worn by club legend Thierry Henry. Though Gyokeres initially preferred No. 9, currently held by Gabriel Jesus, he embraced the symbolic number, sparking excitement among fans.

To mark his arrival, Arsenal launched a limited-time promotion offering free name and number printing on Gyokeres jerseys, normally priced at £16. The offer triggered a buying frenzy both in stores and online.
Early figures show that sales of the “Gyokeres 14” shirt have already surpassed those of any previous Arsenal signing, setting a new club record—with demand still rising as the promotion continues.
