Kelvin Ejumudo, a Senior Special Assistant on Human Rights to the Delta State Governor, has demanded that the popular content creator known as Odogwu Asaba be fully prosecuted for the alleged rape and physical abuse of a twenty-year-old woman who has since died. Ejumudo formally called upon the Delta State Police Command to ensure the suspect faces the legal consequences of these grave actions.
According to reports, the victim took her own life by ingesting a lethal substance after allegedly being lured to Asaba by the suspect under false pretenses of assistance. Before her death, the victim, who was a twin, utilized social media to disclose the abuse she endured.
ACP Aliyu Shaba, the Effurun Area Commander, and his officers successfully apprehended the suspect, who had initially attempted to flee. Ejumudo praised the police for their prompt intervention in taking the individual into custody. Expressing profound sorrow, the aide extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, identified as Favour Agbro, a native of Ughelli North. Ejumudo remarked that poor upbringing can turn individuals into threats to others, describing the incident as an act of monstrous behavior.
