Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has called on the latest additions to his government to remain committed to their oath of office, emphasizing that holding public office is a duty based on public trust. During the Monday swearing-in ceremony at the Government House in Dutse, the governor administered the oath to one technical adviser and five special advisers.
Namadi stressed that these appointees should let their oath shape their professional conduct and every decision they make while serving the state. He framed these appointments as a vital measure to bolster government efficiency and realize his administration’s goal of improving Jigawa. According to the governor, the selection process focused on identifying experienced and capable individuals who can provide significant contributions to the state’s growth.
The governor expressed optimism regarding the team’s potential, noting that the new officials bring the necessary expertise and integrity to the table. He praised their initial display of unity, which he believes indicates a commitment to collective progress. Namadi assured the group that his administration prioritizes collaboration and expects them to work together harmoniously to fulfill the state’s development agenda.
The newly appointed officials are Muftahu Sa’adu Kiri, Technical Adviser on Higher Education; Hajiya Salma Wakili, Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship; Adamu Yusuf Garkuwa, Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs; Mubarak Aliyu, Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs; Musbahu Rabi’u Kaugama, Special Adviser on Investment Promotion; and Bala Sule Kila, Special Adviser on Non-Governmental Organizations.
