The G-17 for Peter Mbah, a prominent grassroots mobilization group, has officially wrapped up its tour of all 17 local government areas in Enugu State. The grand finale, held at the Nkanu East headquarters in Amagunze, drew thousands of supporters, community leaders, and political stakeholders.
The event finalized the inauguration of the group’s local government executives, ward leaders, and polling unit canvassers. Hon. Okechukwu Edeh, Chairman of Nkanu East and the Enugu State ALGON branch, praised G-17 for its disciplined approach to political organization. He confirmed that all 17 council chairmen support the group’s model and remain dedicated to the reelection of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all APC candidates in 2027.
Edeh pointed to the governor’s significant achievements—including new road construction and the completion of the Ugbawka-Nara Bridge—as evidence of Mbah’s effective leadership. He stated that Nkanu East is fully committed to delivering a landslide victory for the governor and party candidates.
Other leaders, including Hon. Okey Mbah, APC chairmanship candidate Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, and G-17 convener Chief Chinedu Mbah, echoed these sentiments. Chief Mbah tasked the newly inaugurated members with immediate grassroots engagement, urging them to spread awareness of the administration’s progress to ensure success in the upcoming general elections.
