Fulham has secured the transfers of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, with both players signing five-year contracts. The deal for 22-year-old forward Garcia is reportedly valued at £34 million. He joins Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa, with whom he previously collaborated at the Bernabeu. Garcia, who earned his inaugural senior Spain cap in June, recorded eight goals in 39 matches during the previous campaign.
Garcia expressed his gratitude to the club management and his new coach, stating he is eager to begin his time at Craven Cottage. Accompanying him is 21-year-old attacking midfielder Cesar Palacios. Like Garcia, Palacios has committed to a deal running through 2031, with Fulham holding an option to extend both players’ stays by an additional year. Palacios, an under-20 Spanish international, made five appearances for Real Madrid’s senior team.
