Nigerian musician Folarin Falana, widely recognized as Falz, has expressed his belief that individuals should avoid entering into matrimony prior to reaching the age of 30. During an appearance on The BTS Reality podcast, the 35-year-old artist argued that most people lack the necessary emotional, financial, and mental development required for a stable union before that milestone.
The rapper cautioned against succumbing to societal expectations or the influence of peers, which often push younger people toward premature weddings. He emphasized that the third decade of life is meant for personal discovery and enjoyment rather than the responsibilities of a spouse.
According to Falz, waiting until one is at least 30 allows for the accumulation of vital life experiences. He noted that people use their twenties to grow and learn, while their thirties serve as a period to apply that wisdom to steer their lives in a purposeful direction.
