English national team captain Harry Kane, alongside teammates Dan Burn and Jason Steele, attended a performance by American country musician Ella Langley during their recent time off. The players took advantage of a day of rest granted by manager Thomas Tuchel to see the artist, known for her chart-topping song Choosin’ Texas, perform in Independence, Missouri.
Dan Burn noted that Kane is a significant fan of the genre, frequently choosing country tracks to play on the team’s record player at their hotel. While Burn fully embraced the theme by dressing in a cowboy hat and jeans, he arrived slightly later than his teammates. Unfortunately, the trio had to depart the concert before the final three songs concluded to adhere to their mandated team curfew.
Despite the early exit, the players enjoyed the experience. Kane documented the evening on social media, sharing a photo with Langley where she was seen holding an England team jersey. The group had previously hoped to see her perform in West Palm Beach, but travel constraints made that visit impossible.
