Dr. Farah Dagogo, a former House of Representatives member and ADC gubernatorial hopeful in Rivers State, recently asserted that the Rainbow Coalition will face a stern electoral verdict in 2027. Speaking at a stakeholder meeting, he claimed the group prioritizes personal political gains over the actual progress of the state. He described the coalition as a barrier to development, pledging to lead a new political path that addresses the public’s weariness with stagnant leadership.
Addressing the Bodo-Bonny Road project, Dagogo rejected claims that it is the achievement of a single administration. He highlighted the project’s long-standing history, noting the involvement of various leaders from the era of former President Olusegun Obasanjo through Goodluck Jonathan, alongside the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas company. He emphasized that the completion of the project was a collective effort of multiple stakeholders.
Regarding his policy platform, Dagogo outlined a comprehensive agenda focused on security, healthcare, energy, and affordable housing. His educational strategy involves implementing the STEAMS model, which incorporates science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and sports. Furthermore, he committed to dedicating five percent of the state budget specifically toward youth entrepreneurship and job creation, framing the younger generation as key partners in his vision for regional growth.
