On Friday, the official draw for the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League play-off round was finalized. A total of 14 football clubs participated in this stage, split between ten teams in the champions path and four in the league path.
Matches are scheduled to begin with the opening legs on August 18 and 19. The deciding return legs will follow on August 25 and 26.
The confirmed pairings include: PFC Levski Sofia or FC Kairat Almaty facing AEK Athens FC; GNK Dinamo or FK Kauno Žalgiris against Viking FK; Mjällby AIF or ŠK Slovan Bratislava versus FC Ararat-Armenia or NK Celje; Hapoel Beer-Sheva FC or FK Crvena Zvezda playing AGF Aarhus or Sabah FC; Fenerbahçe SK or SK Sturm Graz meeting AC Sparta Praha or Olympique Lyonnais; and Olympiacos FC or N.E.C. Nijmegen taking on R. Union Saint-Gilloise or FK Bodø/Glimt.
