Bwacha Promises Taraba Victory for Tinubu in 2027 Presidential Race

PDP governorship candidate Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has vowed to deliver Taraba State for President Bola Tinubu in 2027, citing the President’s performance on security and economic reforms.

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Taraba State, has committed to ensuring the state supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 election. Speaking in Jalingo during the introduction of his running mate, Engr. Aminu Zakari, Bwacha argued that Tinubu is the ideal leader to drive Nigeria toward long-term progress.

Bwacha expressed strong belief in the President’s ability to secure Taraba without requiring a personal campaign visit. He cited the President’s actions on national security, economic policy, and infrastructure development as key reasons for his endorsement. Specifically, he praised the administration’s efforts to collaborate with global intelligence partners to address persistent security threats.

Addressing local concerns, Bwacha criticized the current state administration for an rising debt burden despite significant federal allocations. He repeated his standing challenge to the government, promising to exit the gubernatorial race if they can produce evidence of a capital project worth N10 billion completed within the last three years.

Regarding his partnership with Zakari, the candidate highlighted that his running mate was chosen for his integrity and professional background. Bwacha emphasized that he values competence and character in leadership, asserting that including someone of Zakari’s caliber signals a necessary shift toward empowering capable individuals for the future of the state.
