Big Brother Naija has kicked off its latest season with a strategic surprise called The Gambit. This new development grants two participants an automatic spot in the finale, though it simultaneously disqualifies them from winning the season’s ₦160 million cash reward.
Organizers revealed this development during Monday’s broadcast and through official digital channels. Fans are currently voting to select one man and one woman for the role. These two individuals will be safe from eviction for the rest of the game, but they forfeit any claim to the top prize.
While the selected contestants cannot win the money, they remain active members of the house. They must continue to follow all show regulations, participate in daily tasks, and engage in all standard house activities. Biggie emphasized that while these individuals gain longevity, they lose the eligibility to walk away with the jackpot.
Voting is currently open to the public, excluding the reigning Head of House, Chimsom Chuka, who is not eligible for this specific role. This announcement follows the recent premiere of the show, which saw Chuka secure the first Head of House title.
