Beau Greaves makes history as first woman to qualify for PDC European Tour

Beau Greaves has become the first woman to qualify for a PDC European Tour event, earning spots in upcoming tournaments in Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Beau Greaves has achieved another milestone, breaking barriers as the inaugural female player to qualify for a PDC European Tour event. The 22-year-old secured her position during a qualifying double-header held in Leicester.

During the first event, Greaves defeated Tom Bissell 6-4, earning a spot at the Hungarian Darts Trophy scheduled for August. She followed this performance by narrowly overcoming Lukas Wenig with a 6-5 victory in the second qualifier, which guarantees her participation in September’s Czech Darts Open.

These accomplishments add to a growing resume for the Doncaster native. Earlier this year, Greaves made headlines in April by defeating Michael Smith to become the first woman to claim a PDC ranking title. Furthermore, she recorded the first-ever nine-dart finish by a woman on the PDC ProTour during her February match against Mensur Suljovic. Greaves successfully obtained her PDC Tour Card at the conclusion of 2025.
