Bandits Kidnap Six Farmers in Kaduna
Bandits have kidnapped six farmers—four men and two women—in the Gidan Busa community of Kachia Local Government Area in Kaduna State.
A community leader confirmed the kidnapping on Wednesday, September 25, stating that the incident occurred on Monday around 5 PM.
He noted that the farmers were attacked while working in their fields by armed bandits.
He mentioned that he had notified vigilantes from the nearby Jobgwom village, who mobilized into the forest.
The community leader also revealed that bandits attacked a Fulani settlement in Gadan-Malam Maman on the same day, stealing cows.
During the invasion, the armed bandits shot and injured two villagers while fleeing with the stolen cattle, and he confirmed that the troops have been informed of the situation.
