AYCF Defends Gbajabiamila in Fake Agency Case, Labels Him a Whistleblower

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum claims Femi Gbajabiamila acted as a whistleblower, not a participant, in the fake agency scandal, urging the public to wait for the judicial process to unfold.

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has asserted that Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff, should be viewed as a whistleblower rather than a suspect regarding the controversy surrounding the fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). The group expressed its support for the Presidency’s stance, as articulated by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Reports suggest that Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi allegedly executed a complex fraud involving forged documents and the creation of an imitation government agency. Adeyemi is accused of securing unauthorized space at the Federal Secretariat and activities that threatened diplomatic standards. According to AYCF National President Alhaji Mohammed Aliyu, Gbajabiamila acted promptly to notify security agencies upon identifying the fraudulent scheme, thereby protecting the Presidency’s credibility.

Official accounts indicate that Gbajabiamila formally alerted the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Police Force on October 17, 2025. This move followed reports from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council regarding the suspicious entity. The Chief of Staff reportedly submitted evidence of forged documents, including manipulated signatures and seals. The AYCF praised his vigilance, describing his actions as a positive model for public accountability. Furthermore, the forum highlighted Adeyemi’s history of alleged criminal activities, dating back to 2016, and urged the public to avoid politicizing the legal proceedings currently underway.
