Kristin Cabot, Chief People Officer at the New York-based tech firm Astronomer, has officially resigned, a company spokesperson confirmed Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Her departure comes just over a week after a video surfaced showing her and CEO Andy Byron sharing an intimate moment on a “kiss cam” during a Coldplay concert near Boston.
The footage, which quickly went viral, showed the pair attempting to hide their faces after being broadcast on the stadium’s jumbotron.
Cabot had held her HR leadership role at Astronomer since November 2024. TMZ first reported her exit.
Byron, also married, stepped down from his position over the weekend amid mounting backlash from the incident. Both he and Cabot were initially placed on leave as the company began a formal probe into the alleged affair.
The scandal sparked widespread attention due to the couple’s high-ranking roles and marital statuses.
