Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has marked his 67th birthday with a humble appeal for forgiveness from anyone he may have wronged during his years of public service.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Monday, the governor expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His mercy and guidance throughout his leadership journey. He described the occasion not as one for grand celebrations but for “quiet reflection and thanksgiving for the grace to serve the people of Bauchi State.”
Mohammed stated, “I humbly seek forgiveness from anyone I may have wronged, knowingly or unknowingly, and I reaffirm my commitment to continue leading with fairness, equity, and a deep sense of responsibility.”
He acknowledged the outpouring of prayers, goodwill, and affection from family, friends, colleagues, and the people of Bauchi State, noting that their support means a great deal to him.
Looking ahead, the governor pledged to leave Bauchi better than he met it, stressing that his administration will continue expanding access to education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. According to him, the government has already exceeded expectations in several areas and is determined to sustain the momentum.
He further appreciated the tributes offered in his honour and called for renewed optimism and collective unity as Bauchi charts its future.
