Arsenal have finalized the transfer of Greek winger Christos Tzolis, securing the 24-year-old on a long-term agreement. While official figures remain undisclosed, reports value the move from Club Brugge at £34 million. Tzolis joins the squad to fill the gap left by Leandro Trossard, who recently departed for Besiktas.
This signing marks Arsenal’s third permanent addition of the transfer period. It comes shortly after the club failed to secure Morgan Rogers, who moved to Chelsea for a British-record fee of £117 million. During his time at Brugge, Tzolis recorded 43 goals in 108 matches, including a performance against Arsenal in the Champions League.
Tzolis is no stranger to English football, having previously played for Norwich City. His career also includes stints at PAOK Thessaloniki, FC Twente, and Fortuna Duesseldorf. He was instrumental in Brugge’s Belgian league title victory last season.
Sporting director Andrea Berta praised the 34-time capped Greek international, highlighting his technical proficiency, two-footed finishing, and ability to perform in crowded areas. Berta expressed strong belief that the winger would provide a meaningful impact for the team.
