In a Tuesday statement, Adesuyi recommended that the electoral body implement thorough background checks for all drivers and vehicles tasked with moving election personnel and sensitive materials.
Adesuyi emphasized that verifying transport assets is vital for maintaining security and public trust throughout the state. By properly profiling these resources, the commission can better protect the integrity of the voting process. He further called on INEC to prevent malpractice, voter intimidation, and outside interference to ensure the final result accurately represents the will of the people.
