Munirudeen Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress flagbearer for the Osun State governorship race, asserted on Tuesday that he is the state’s next leader. He voiced this claim during an engagement at a Town Hall event held in Osogbo.
Oyebamiji described his political path as a destined mission to serve the entirety of Osun rather than specific regions. He emphasized that his administration would prioritize the welfare and safety of citizens. His platform includes initiatives to eliminate poverty and hunger while focusing on agriculture, health, and education sectors.
He further noted that developing human resources and focusing on capital projects are central components of his agenda. Oyebamiji is set to compete against the incumbent, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the upcoming election this Saturday. Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, is seeking to secure a second term.
