The Nationwide League One has officially announced that Abeokuta and Ado Ekiti are set to host the 2026 South-West promotional playoffs. Matches are scheduled to take place between July 10th and July 15th at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena and the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
This week-long event serves to decide the two teams from the South-West that will earn advancement to the Nigeria National League. Franceex United, Ablaze FC, Hepzebah FC, and Ikorodu are set to vie for the first promotion spot. Meanwhile, Dokkal Khairu FC, Adeyemi FC, Ijebu United, and Yewa FA will compete for the second slot. To maintain high competition standards, all fixtures will be held simultaneously across the two designated venues. Additionally, reports indicate that Nasarawa, Yobe, and Jigawa will host the playoff matches for the northern zone.
