Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, serving as the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, has called on Osun State residents to remain peaceful during the upcoming Saturday governorship election. Speaking at a major party rally for candidate Bola Oyebamiji, also known as AMBO, Uzodinma emphasized that the APC promotes ideological progress rather than conflict.
The governor urged citizens to ignore groups that incite chaos, stressing that the party seeks to bring Osun into better alignment with the federal government and other APC-governed regions. He noted that integrating the state into this broader national network is a primary goal of the party’s leadership.
Addressing the crowd, Uzodinma asked all political participants to safeguard the democratic process by avoiding intimidation and unrest. He framed a vote for Oyebamiji as a supportive step for the national administration under President Bola Tinubu, arguing that such an outcome is vital for the country’s ongoing transformation.
