Fadahunsi faced significant backlash following the release of a video where he appeared to order followers to eliminate Accord Party members. The senator has defended his words, clarifying that his instruction to kill the party meant defeating them at the polls rather than inciting physical harm. Despite this explanation, Olarenwaju insists that the senator deserves arrest and prosecution.
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Olarenwaju characterized Fadahunsi’s continued public appearances as evidence of a compromised federal system. He rejected the senator’s defense and demanded that he be confined to house arrest throughout the campaign period to prevent further instability. Furthermore, Olarenwaju accused the national police force of showing partisan bias toward the All Progressives Congress, labeling such conduct as a violation of democratic norms.
