ADC Leader Predicts APC Defeat in 2027

ADC chieftain Dr. Walter Oji warns that the APC will struggle in 2027 due to economic hardship, urging Enugu residents to support Atiku Abubakar and Chief Ocho Obodoeze.

In Enugu, African Democratic Congress (ADC) stalwart Dr. (Sir) Walter Oji has publicly denounced the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership, claiming the ruling party has let the nation down. During the launch of the G24 for Atiku Abubakar and Ocho Obodoeze 2027 Movement, Oji stated that widespread economic struggles, poverty, and insecurity will lead voters to seek new leadership in the upcoming general election.

Oji asserted that the current administration has failed to earn a second term. He advocated for a shift toward Atiku Abubakar, citing his background in economic policy as a reason to replace President Bola Tinubu. Additionally, Oji voiced concerns regarding the policies of Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, which he claims have exacerbated the financial strain on the local population. He encouraged citizens to back ADC candidate Chief Ocho Obodoeze for the gubernatorial race.

To build momentum, Oji instructed support groups to focus on grassroots outreach and internal resource mobilization rather than relying exclusively on party funding. The event, which featured prominent guests including Gen. Chris Eze (rtd.) and Dr. Ekene Onwuka, served as a call for voters to leverage their influence to secure a different future for Nigeria.
