Adeleke Warns Voters Against Returning APC to Power in Osun

Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged Osun State residents to vote in the August 15 election to prevent the APC from returning the state to a period of economic hardship.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has called on the electorate to cast their votes in force during the August 15 governorship election. He emphasized that his government is determined to prevent the All Progressives Congress (APC) from reclaiming power and steering the state back to a time of severe economic distress.

Sharing his message on social media, the governor described the prior APC administration as a period when civil servants endured extreme hardship, receiving only partial salaries and struggling to afford daily meals. He warned that the opposition party remains eager to bring back those challenging times, which he characterized as the weaponization of poverty.

Adeleke encouraged citizens to remain focused, urging them to use the upcoming election to endorse his administration’s commitment to compassion and steady progress. By voting on August 15, he believes residents can secure the gains made during his tenure and ensure the state continues to move in a positive direction.

The governor is currently campaigning for his second term as the political climate across Osun State continues to heat up before the polls.
