Arsenal have reached an agreement with Newcastle United to sign captain Bruno Guimaraes for a fee of £75 million. Reports from Sky Sports indicate that the Brazilian midfielder has received clearance to undergo a medical examination.
Earlier this summer, Guimaraes communicated his desire to move to the reigning Premier League champions should a viable bid be submitted. His potential departure contributes to a significant summer of sales for Newcastle, who have already generated over £240 million in revenue.
The club previously saw Anthony Gordon complete a £69.3 million move to Barcelona, while Sandro Tonali was transferred to Tottenham Hotspur for £100 million.
