Businessman Prince Isaac Fayose has charged FCT Minister Nyesom Wike with ignoring the persistent issue of livestock wandering through Abuja city streets. During a recent media briefing on Tuesday, Wike was asked about the administration’s plan to address this nuisance.
Wike declined to comment on the specifics, labeling the situation a national security concern. He suggested that the National Security Adviser and the DSS should be the ones to address the matter. The Minister insisted that while the government has the capacity to intervene, they must proceed with caution.
Fayose took to his Facebook page on Wednesday to challenge this stance, asserting that Wike is more intimidated by cattle than by the welfare of citizens. He criticized the current leadership for prioritizing a cautious approach toward livestock while showing little regard for the populace, further calling those who back the administration cruel.
