Members of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, working alongside the Nigerian Navy Special Boat Service, successfully apprehended three individuals suspected of providing logistical support and intelligence to the Lakurawa terrorist faction in Kebbi State.
Security expert Zagazola Makama reported on Friday that the arrests occurred on Monday, July 21, around 10:45 a.m. Soldiers from the Combat Service Intelligence Brigade VII carried out the operation in Kangiwa Village, located in the Arewa Local Government Area.
Authorities identified the men as key figures assisting the terrorist network. Following their capture, the suspects were transferred to the Kangiwa Police Division to undergo formal interrogation and legal processing. Military officials noted that this mission is part of a broader strategy aimed at breaking the supply chains and information networks that aid insurgent groups throughout the North-West region.
