The Ogun State Police Command has successfully taken two individuals into custody following separate robbery incidents. In the Ogere Remo region, officers apprehended Abdulsalam Adam after he and his accomplices raided a home in Akuro Phase I. The group made off with two motorcycles, cash, and mobile phones. Acting on reliable intelligence, local police, the So-Safe Corps, and community vigilantes intercepted the group, forcing them to abandon the motorcycles and flee into the forest. In a separate operation, the Ajuwon Division responded to a robbery in the Baale Akinosi area. Criminals had broken into a residence and seized valuables including a laptop, jewelry, and a Toyota Camry. As police approached, the perpetrators escaped, leaving the stolen vehicle behind. Officers managed to arrest Israel Salako during the pursuit. Both Adam and Salako are currently aiding the police with ongoing investigations.
