Former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami and ex-Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi are holding a private meeting. The discussion between these two prominent African Democratic Congress (ADC) figures is happening at the Abuja home of Amaechi this Friday.
This session follows the former minister’s visit to Aminu Tambuwal, the previous Governor of Sokoto State, which occurred on Thursday. It should be noted that the ADC recently announced Amaechi as the vice-presidential candidate for their 2027 ticket, running alongside presidential hopeful Atiku Abubakar.
Furthermore, the ADC has formally submitted the names of both Atiku and Amaechi to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal for the upcoming electoral cycle. Specific information regarding the agenda of today’s meeting remains undisclosed at this time.
