For the upcoming 2026-27 Nigeria National League campaign, Wikki Tourists have integrated 10 new players into their first team. Half of these recruits transitioned from the organization’s youth squad, while the remainder were scouted from various football academies throughout the region.
Club chairman Salmanu Abubakar noted that the scouting process was rigorous, with the coaching staff basing all selections solely on the technical abilities of the candidates. According to Abubakar, the team recognizes its obligation to cultivate local talent within Bauchi State.
Abubakar emphasized that the club belongs to the local community and is committed to fostering authentic opportunities for promising youth. He stated that every individual elevated to the professional roster secured their place through hard work and performance. The organization has invited Bauchi residents and fans to support these emerging players as they embark on their professional careers.
