Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, stated on Wednesday that FCT residents are experiencing the direct benefits of governance for the first time in the city’s history under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
While inaugurating road projects in the Gaduwa District to commemorate the President’s first year, Wike promised continued infrastructure growth across the territory. He highlighted that unlike previous administrations, the current government has ensured that every district receives active attention and project implementation.
Wike credited the National Assembly for the timely passage and approval of the FCT budget, which allowed his ministry to execute the President’s vision effectively. He cited visits to areas such as Kwali, Jahi, Gwarimpa, and Katampe as evidence that tangible development is reaching all corners of the capital. According to the Minister, the administration remains committed to maintaining this momentum to ensure further progress throughout the President’s term.
