Inter Milan has reached an agreement to transfer Akinsamiro to a fellow Serie A club. The deal includes a 7.5 million euro fee alongside a 10 per cent future sell-on clause, with no buy-back option included for the Italian giants.
Akinsamiro, a former member of the Inter Milan youth system, drew attention from several European sides this summer, including Bologna, Werder Bremen, and Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 21-year-old was originally recruited from the Nigerian club Remo Stars in early 2023.
During his time with Inter, the defensive midfielder made a single league appearance and was part of the squad that captured the Serie A title in 2024. He gained significant professional experience through recent loan spells, notably scoring once in 35 appearances for Sampdoria and providing an assist during his 25-game stint with Pisa last season.
