The Social Democratic Party has officially acknowledged the Independent National Electoral Commission’s verification of Prince Adewole Adebayo as its standard-bearer for the 2027 presidential race. This inclusion on the electoral commission’s finalized candidate list is viewed by the party as a crucial step forward in their campaign strategy.
Delta State SDP Chairman Felix Obuseh noted that the formal recognition has strengthened the morale of party members nationwide. He emphasized that the organization remains dedicated to building momentum for their candidate. Meanwhile, Zamfara State SDP Chairman Bilal Aliyu Gusau extended his congratulations to Adebayo, offering his support for the upcoming campaign activities.
Reflecting on the milestone, Cotterell Tumbodiaa characterized the approval of Adebayo and his vice-presidential partner as a vital component of the party’s election roadmap. He expressed optimism that the SDP provides a viable option for the electorate and voiced his support for the campaign ahead.
