More than 148,000 students across Scotland will receive their academic results starting at 08:00 on Tuesday. These grades cover Nationals, Highers, Advanced Highers, and various vocational qualifications. This year marks the first time the new body, Qualifications Scotland, oversees the process, following the dissolution of the SQA.
While every student will receive their results via first-class post, those who activated their My Qualifications Scotland account will also get digital notifications via email or text. Regarding grading, National 5 through Advanced Higher courses use an A-D scale, whereas National 2 to 4 focus on pass or fail marks. Although final grade boundaries are determined in summer meetings, initial benchmarks are set at 50% for a C, 70% for an A, and 85% for an Upper A.
