Ronaldo to Work with New Manager as Al Nassr Terminates Pioli’s Contract
Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates are currently without a head coach following Al Nassr’s decision to terminate Stefano Pioli’s contract.
Pioli departs the Saudi Pro League side after a disappointing season and is expected to return to Italy, where he is set to take over as Fiorentina’s new manager.
“Pioli and his staff are no more the acting coaching staff of the first team,” Al Nassr confirmed in a social media post.
Pioli previously managed Fiorentina for two seasons until 2019, before going on to win a Serie A title during a five-year stint at AC Milan.
He joined Al Nassr following the dismissal of Luís Castro.
The club is still chasing its first domestic league title since 2019, and during Cristiano Ronaldo’s time there, Al Nassr has now parted ways with three full-time managers.
