Real Madrid has identified two midfielders they want to sign as Luka Modric’s replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The club has already confirmed that Modric will leave this summer. The Croatian midfielder will play his last LaLiga game for Real Madrid on Saturday when they face Real Sociedad at home.
Modric will leave Madrid after their FIFA Club World Cup campaign this summer.
According to Cadena SER, Real Madrid are considering two midfielders as his replacement: Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez and Bayer Leverkusen’s Exequiel Palacios.
Luka Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012 from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
The 39-year-old midfielder has won an impressive 28 trophies with the club, including six UEFA Champions League titles and four domestic league titles during his time at Madrid.
