PRP Dismisses Claims That Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Acquired 69 Nomination Forms

The Peoples Redemption Party has labeled as false the claims that former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso purchased dozens of nomination forms to influence party leadership.

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has officially refuted claims that Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former Kano State Governor, purchased 69 nomination forms to seize control of the party’s leadership for the 2027 election cycle.

These accusations originated from Abdulkadir Musa Giza, who introduced himself as the chairman of the North-West Stakeholders Forum of the PRP. Giza alleged that Kwankwaso had successfully manipulated the party’s structure.

Alhaji Musa Maigari, the PRP secretary, addressed these claims during a media briefing on Monday. He clarified that the allegations are completely unfounded, noting that Kwankwaso has neither acquired any nomination forms nor holds any formal ties to the political organization.

Maigari emphasized that all party positions are currently occupied and noted that primary elections have already concluded. He also challenged the legitimacy of the accuser, stating that Giza is not a registered member of the party. Furthermore, Maigari asserted that the North-West Stakeholders Forum lacks official recognition from the PRP leadership.

The party secretary noted that the timing of these rumors is suspect, given that the primary election period has passed. He encouraged the public to disregard these claims and advised them to seek information only through verified party communication outlets.
