Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, asserted on Monday that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aligning himself with individuals destined to fail him in the next election. Through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed the President is spiritually impaired and currently surrounded by deceptive figures, including certain state governors.
Ayodele emphasized that the outcome of the race will be settled in the spiritual realm rather than through political maneuvering. He warned that the President’s reliance on foreign powers like France and the United States will hinder his administration rather than secure his future. According to the Primate, Tinubu lacks control over his government and is clinging to allies who will eventually abandon him.
Furthermore, the cleric stated that the opposition could easily unseat the President if they remain focused and united. He added that even the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may be unable to secure a victory for him. Ayodele noted that dissatisfaction in the northern region remains high and warned that northerners are likely to present a challenge during the final stages of the election process. He concluded that the President risks leaving office in disgrace unless he changes his current trajectory.
